Job summary

Air Mechanical Inc in Ham Lake, MN is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to organize and maintain the scheduling system for new construction projects. This onsite role operates Monday–Friday 7am-3:30pm and interfaces with management, field staff, estimators and homeowners to ensure timely project progress.

The candidate will log timelines, generate schedule reports, and coordinate with contractors and inspectors to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

Prior experience in HVAC, Plumbing, construction, or project scheduling preferred.
Ability to build rapport with field staff, job supervisors, co-workers, builders, city officials, and homeowners.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Deadline, goal and detail-oriented.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to interpret contract specs and sequencing of complex projects.

Responsibilities

Coordinate scheduling with field staff, supervisors, estimators, homeowners and inspectors.
Set up and schedule tasks to meet contract requirements.
Log project timelines and maintain task databases.
Provide schedule reports for coordination and billing.
Schedule inspections and warranty work.
Maintain accurate project records and change orders.
Communicate project status to management.
Assist field managers with process improvements.
