Job summary

Overland Group, Inc. in Lehi, Utah is seeking a Construction Project Accountant to manage financial and accounting activities for assigned construction projects, ensuring accurate billings, cost tracking, and subcontractor payments.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and internal accounting staff, support month-end close, and help improve financial processes with Sage CM experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate, submit, and track owner billings, including AIA forms (G702/G703).
• Prepare and maintain accurate Work in Progress (WIP) reports.
• Manage project-related accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review subcontractor pay applications for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Process subcontractor payments and maintain proper documentation.
• Track project costs and ensure expenses are properly coded and recorded.
• Prepare and analyze project-level financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial data within Sage CM.
• Investigate unbilled or misclassified project costs and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities for construction projects.
