Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee accounting operations for large-scale construction projects. You will lead financial reporting, ensure GAAP compliance, and advise project teams on profitability and risk.

The role requires strong contract analysis skills and experience with A/P/A/R controls. The position entails collaboration with project management to optimize cash flow, manage audits, and implement internal controls across finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (4+ years experience).
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and accounting policies.
• Experience with A/P/A/R and cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee accounting operations for large construction projects.
• Provide project-level financial dashboards and reporting to management.
• Interpret contractual terms for billing, payments, and risk allocation.
• Ensure internal controls for A/P and A/R accuracy and compliance.
• Manage month-end closes, accruals, journals, and intercompany charges.
• Lead audit processes for client and joint venture ledgers and resolve issues.
• Oversee cash flow strategy and profitability, coordinating with stakeholders.
