Job summary

MPI, a multi-generational construction company serving Ohio, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial/public sector projects from preconstruction through closeout in Columbus.

You will coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality controls while maintaining a balanced workload with WFH Fridays.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
  • Experience delivering public, municipal, government, healthcare, K-12, higher education, or institutional projects.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, project controls, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee contracts, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
