Job summary

Linbeck Group, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking an Engineer to oversee a defined scope managed through subcontractor contracts valued from $500k to $10m. You will make timely decisions that influence the project schedule and financial outcomes, applying knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems, as well as building methods, materials, and sequencing.

Key duties include reading drawings, drafting, and issuing RFIs; managing submittal, RFI, and contract-document logs;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business with 3+ months internship.
• Or 4+ years of construction project experience with Linbeck or related firm.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specifications to ensure scope meets contractual obligations.
• Create and manage RFIs and log its records for contract documentation.
• Manage the RFI and submittal logs to ensure timely responses and approvals.
• Coordinate with Owner, Architect, Engineer, and Subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Support GMP and Lump Sum estimates during design stages and provide clear assumptions.
