Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Austin project team. You will support project management tasks, including scheduling, procurement, and coordination with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality and safety on site.

Key responsibilities include maintaining drawings and specifications, preparing submittals and logs, and assisting the project manager in closeout and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years minimum of relevant construction experience.
• Thorough understanding of project documents and local building codes.
• Fundamental understanding of field engineering and site layout.
• Experience with construction scheduling and procurement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specs and documents.
• Assemble monthly reports, QA plans, and submittals.
• Develop and maintain logs for submittals, drawings, specs, and RFIs.
• Assist updating project schedules and weekly updates.
• Support Lean principles and site coordination activities.
