Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its PCI Southern Missouri 577 operations based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role focuses on coordinating labor, schedules, takeoffs, and QA/QC activities while maintaining strong client relations and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of construction project experience, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years' experience supporting or managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they're learned.
• Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI’s and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support the QA/QC measures outlined in the QA/QC program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
