Job summary

McShane Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to help deliver high-quality multi-family, industrial, and commercial projects. You will gain exposure to project controls, budgets, and owner communication while advancing your career through structured meetings and audits.

The role emphasizes safety, timeliness, and adherence to McShane quality standards with opportunities in preconstruction, scheduling, and QA/QC processes. Strong teamwork and on-site collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, design consultants and trade partners.
• Experience with construction management software is preferred.
• Full-time, in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings to understand scope and details.
• Assist in bid tab evaluation by reviewing subcontractor proposals.
• Assist in PQM process for all subcontractors.
• Create and manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate project schedules and tracking.
• Support QA/QC and safety program adherence.
• Prepare project cost reports and payment applications.
• Assist in resolving project challenges and conflicts as they arise.
