Job summary

Dalke & Sons Construction, Inc. in Riverside, CA is hiring a full-time Project Engineer to support project managers and field teams from pre-construction through closeout.

You will help with scheduling, review drawings and specs, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, process RFIs and submittals, and manage procurement while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Office, Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work in both office and on-site settings with multi-tasking and attention to detail.
• Understanding of construction safety practices and applicable codes; field or internship experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking.
• Review drawings and specifications and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Process and track RFIs and submittals and manage material procurement.
• Monitor quality and compliance with project plans and support cost control and change management.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure timely updates and smooth project delivery.
