You will help with scheduling, review drawings and specs, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, process RFIs and submittals, and manage procurement while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Strong communication skills and ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Office, Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work in both office and on-site settings with multi-tasking and attention to detail.
• Understanding of construction safety practices and applicable codes; field or internship experience is beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time Project Engineer role based in Riverside, CA. The Project Engineer supports project managers and field teams in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with project scheduling, tracking progress, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, processing and tracking RFI's and submittals and managing material procurement. The role also involves monitoring quality and compliance with project plans, supporting cost control and change management, and helping resolve field issues in collaboration with superintendents and trade partners. The Project Engineer will regularly communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure clarity, timely updates, and smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents and problem solving skills to help navigate day to day on-site obstacles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Office, Microsoft Project and basic construction documentation tools.
• Ability to work in an office setting as well as on-site, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of construction safety practices and applicable codes; prior field or internship experience in construction is beneficial.
