Job summary

QXO is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction and building product projects by managing engineering documentation, procurement support, and project coordination activities.

Working closely with Project Managers, Field Operations, Estimating, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Safety teams, this role helps ensure projects progress efficiently from planning through closeout while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred
• Experience supporting construction projects preferred
• Experience reading construction drawings and technical documents

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and engineering correspondence
• Maintain project document control systems and logs
• Coordinate drawings revisions and distribute updated docs
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Support field operations with engineering documentation and updates
