Job summary

Keller Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team from pre-construction through closeout.

You will help plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality goals are met while maintaining thorough documentation and clear communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing schedules and budgets, coordinating subcontractors, processing submittals and RFI's, maintaining logs, and assisting with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• Internship or co-op experience in construction or related field.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Project and Procore preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for timely delivery.
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other docs.
• Issue Letters of Intent based on buyout and scope developed by PM.
• Maintain project logs and documentation using PM software.
• Conduct quality control inspections of materials and labor.
• Maintain material procurement logs and track vendor data.
• Communicate with project stakeholders; support field operations.
• Prepare meeting minutes and action items.
• Ensure safety compliance and collect safety documents.
• Assist in closeout documentation, punch lists, inspections.
• Assist in proposals and presentations; bid packages.
• Collaborate with estimating for take-offs and bids.
