Job summary

KPRS Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee documentation and controls supporting the construction process, ensuring the project meets contract intent.

This role centers on organizing project control documents and facilitating clear communication on site. As part of the team, you will support project managers and superintendents, manage submittals, RFIs, schedules, and verification tasks, and ensure all trades and sources receive appropriate approvals.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in construction or related field, and/or bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
• Systems knowledge: Proficient in Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, AutoCAD (viewing).
• Skills: Proficient in plan reading, technical reading and writing, and critical thinking.
• Attributes: Dedicated, resourceful, articulate, curious, analytical, reliable, organized, punctual.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize submittals, RFI's, show drawings, plan logs, permit logs, procurement logs, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate and input schedules, safety inspections, and quality checks
• Manage meeting minutes
• Ensure all trades, systems, and sources have been fully examined for compliance, coordination, and appropriate approvals
• Provide support to project managers and superintendents
