Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. The role focuses on day-to-day project details and supports the Project Manager across all phases of active projects.

You will collaborate with architects, owners, subcontractors, and field teams to maintain organized project information, review drawings and schedules, and help ensure safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager throughout preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, Superintendents, and field teams to keep project information organized and current.
• Prepare, review, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Assist with bid packages, procurement, bid analysis, buyouts, constructability reviews, permit tracking, and contract documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, materials, and project documentation to help identify issues and keep work aligned with plans, codes, and safety requirements.
• Track subcontractor progress, material deliveries, quality control items, and project updates while communicating risks or concerns to the Project Manager or Superintendent.
