Job summary

Eastern Builders Inc. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction projects from inception to completion.

You will work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in project engineering, a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, and familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
• Support cost tracking and forecasting efforts; assist in reviewing invoices and managing procurement processes.
• Assist the Superintendent in implementing and maintaining the on-site safety program, including safety inspections and MSDS manual.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and support field teams when requested.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders.
• Work with Superintendent and Project Manager to identify risks and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
• Support the implementation and use of construction technology tools to enhance project efficiency and data accuracy
