Job summary

Eastern Commercial, the full-service commercial general contracting division of Eastern Companies, seeks a proactive Project Engineer to support execution from inception to completion. You will work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and top quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as project engineer or similar.
• 10-Hr OSHA Training (30-Hr within the first 6 months).
• Experience with commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet milestones.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
• Budget & Cost Control: assist in reviewing invoices and procurement; support monthly owner billing.
• Quality Assurance: assist on-site safety program and inspections.
• Subcontractor Management: coordinate with subs and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Site Visits: conduct inspections to assess progress and identify issues.
