Job summary

Beaver Excavating Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team in planning and execution of construction projects. This position is based in our Columbus office, with travel to project sites as needed.

You will build relationships with project personnel, assist with work orders, schedules, drawings, field measurements, subcontracts, and supplier agreements, and support the Project Manager and Superintendent with job documents and materials.

Responsibilities

• Develops solid working relationships with all project personnel.
• Assists in preparation of work orders, schedules, drawings, field measurements, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Attends pre-construction meetings; assists with action items lists and proposed solutions.
• Provides support to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Contract Administrator with job documents and materials.
• Analyzes project layout, sequencing, cost analysis, quantities, and clarifications of specifications.
• Ensures proper document control and QA documentation and records.
• Assists in monitoring the project site to ensure work progresses on schedule.
• Provides support to field personnel.
