Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Project Engineer to support project teams through hand-off from Estimating to close-out.

You will help with planning, scheduling, reporting, and document control, using Procore to manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, ability to read drawings, and the capacity to manage multiple projects with strong communication and urgency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings.
• Strong multi-project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams from hand-off through close-out.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Maintain document control in Procore (RFIs, submittals, drawings, specs).
• Coordinate with PMs and field teams to ensure progress and safety.
