Job summary
Oradeo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a leading construction contractor based in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Project Manager and wider project team, ensuring engineering activities are effectively coordinated and delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements.
Responsibilities include liaising with the project and design teams, verifying civil designs and managing RFIs,
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a Project Engineer with a main contractor.
- Experience with reinforced concrete frames and commercial/residential developments.
- Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations and levelling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager and project team with technical advice and engineering support.
- Liaise daily with project/design teams and subcontractors.
- Carry out technical verification of civil designs, models and drawings.
- Implement quality assurance procedures including concrete pour checks.
- Manage RFIs and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Assist in maintaining safe on-site practices.
- Monitor materials, plant and site logistics and maintain site records.
