Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Construction Engineer to support the successful delivery of building projects in Greenville, SC. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards, and you will help monitor progress and address routine issues.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field and 0-4 years of experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
0-4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Assists in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
Coordinates with project managers to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
Monitors project schedules and budgets, tracks productivity, and reports variances to support timely corrective actions.
Supports the implementation of standard QA and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
Identifies opportunities for incremental improvements and contributes to leading practices with guidance.
Participates in project meetings and communicates updates to team members and stakeholders.
