Ajax Building Company, part of STO Building Group, seeks a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role bridges field operations and project management, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination throughout the lifecycle of the project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of construction experience; internship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and interest in growing within project management.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and review drawings, specifications, and submittals to support project execution.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts in construction documents.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and closeout materials.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date document control logs and project records.
• Assist with preparation of “as‑built” drawings and field design change documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to support project progress.
• Track and report on project status, including costs, schedules, and key milestones.
• Support field operations through site visits, inspections, and coordination as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required to support project and team success.
