Job summary

DPR Construction in Wisconsin seeks a Project Engineer to support successful delivery of construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to meet requirements, timelines and quality standards, while contributing to efficient execution and continuous improvement.

Key experiences include reviewing drawings and submittals, monitoring schedules and budgets, and maintaining project documentation. OSHA 30 is preferred and a related degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
• Coordinates with project managers and project teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors standard project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances to support timely corrective actions.
• Supports the implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identifies opportunities for incremental improvements and contributes to the development of leading practices with guidance.
• Participates in project meetings and communicates updates to team members and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience
