Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a motivated construction engineer to support the successful delivery of projects in the United States. You will collaborate with project teams, review drawings, monitor schedules, and help ensure quality and safety across activities.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, and 0–4 years of experience. OSHA 30 certification is preferred, with completion expected within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals, while maintaining regular field presence to support safe work execution, including attendance at safety meetings.
• Coordinates with project managers and project teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors standard project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances to support timely corrective actions.
• Supports the implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identifies opportunities for incremental improvements and contributes to the development of leading practices with guidance.
• Participates in project meetings and communicates updates to team members and stakeholders.
