Job summary

bkimechanical is seeking a Project Engineer/Estimator to work with the Project Management team on construction projects. You will review drawings, assemble bid details, and develop subcontractor information for bids.

The role supports monthly WIP reporting, budgeting, and scheduling while maintaining safety and clean work practices on-site. The position requires a BSME or equivalent, 2+ years in construction, and ability to read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management to estimate and manage construction projects.
• Review drawings for correctness and assemble bid details.

• Support WIP reporting and project budgeting.
• Monitor schedule, coordinate activities, and surface issues.
• Control costs by advising on expenditures and contracts.
• Travel to job sites to review progress and provide solutions.
• Maintain project databases and ensure safe working environment.
