Job summary

TrueBuild Partners is seeking a Project Engineer in Las Vegas to support delivery from preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with Project Managers and Superintendents on active job sites and in the office.

This full-time, permanent position offers a solid foundation for early-career professionals to grow into a Project Manager role with a reputable general contractor. Competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with a general contractor, ideally on commercial or hospitality projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus, but not required.
• Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for conflicts and constructability issues.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and closeout materials.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to keep projects moving on schedule.
• Track material procurement, deliveries, schedules, and other critical project milestones.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, quality control, safety initiatives, and general project coordination.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a 100-person general contractor known for delivering high-profile commercial and hospitality projects across the Las Vegas market. The Project Engineer will support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on active job sites and in the office.

Candidate Profile

• 1+ years of experience with a general contractor, ideally on commercial or hospitality projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but not required
• Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working both in a job site trailer environment and in the field
