Qualifications

• Three to five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers to monitor project budgets and financial performance.
• Prepare monthly job cost reports, cost analyses, and supporting financial schedules.
• Review project costs for accuracy, completeness, and proper cost coding.
• Assist with project forecasting, earned revenue reporting, and budget updates.
• Support monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reviews and financial reporting.
• Monitor owner billings and assist with monthly billing forecasts.
• Track accounts receivable and expected receipt dates.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve billing questions.
• Help monitor project cash flow and identify potential concerns.
• Review purchase orders, subcontract costs, invoices, and change orders.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation.
• Assist with cost tracking for labor, equipment, hauling, materials, and indirect costs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Corporate Accounting.
• Participate in monthly financial and project review meetings.
• Suggest improvements to accounting processes and reporting tools.
