Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Project Accountant to join our rapidly growing construction team in Florida. The role oversees financials from inception to completion, partnering with project managers and finance to ensure transparency and accuracy across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project accounting, preferably in construction, with strong budgeting, cost tracking, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in project accounting, preferably construction.
• Proficiency in accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• High integrity and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting for construction projects.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable; ensuring timely processing.
• Conducting regular financial analysis to identify cost overruns and inefficiencies.
• Collaborating with project managers to develop budgets and forecast costs.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Preparing regular financial reports for senior management highlighting trends and risks.
• Integrating project accounting with overall company financial management.
