Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation in Des Moines, IA is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator – Construction to keep documentation, procurement, and budgets on track while supporting Project Managers and a growing team.

You’ll own project records, coordinate deliveries, gather quotes, monitor subcontractor work, and prepare status reports to highlight milestones and issues. This role demands organization, clear communication, and field-ready readiness for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting or project management support experience.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and other key project records.
• Keep project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders informed on updates and requirements.
• Gather quotes, order materials, and coordinate deliveries.
• Help the Project Manager monitor subcontractor scope of work and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Prepare regular status reports highlighting milestones and issues.
• Track project expenses and budget variances, and keep the Project Manager updated.
• Support new teammates with training and share knowledge and insights.
