The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of Des Moines projects. You will work with managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, performing technical evaluations, monitoring quality, tracking costs, and communicating with stakeholders. Moderate travel is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of construction/engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Moderate travel required.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Assists in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules. Submits RFIs and manages documentation, as needed.
• Engineering Support: Performs technical calculations, analyses, and evaluations related to construction materials, methods, and specifications. Reviews drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Quality Assurance and Control: Monitors workmanship and materials; conducts inspections and quality audits; documents and reports issues.
• Cost Control and Budget: Assists in monitoring project costs against budgets; tracks expenses and identifies cost-saving opportunities.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicates with project team members, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders; resolves issues.
• Client Network: Builds and maintains client network via events, conferences, associations, and mentorship.
