Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction in Orange County, CA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager across administrative and technical needs for construction special projects.

The role covers contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financials, schedule updates, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while meeting customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years of construction office/field commercial experience in a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager role.
• 1 year or more of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s).
