Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Project Manager for the Orange County area. Ideally this Project Manager candidate will have a diverse background ranging from Interiors in corporate office, to public works and specialty projects like theme parks.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. In this position, the incumbent directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders,

Qualifications

Bachelor degree required in CM, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
5+ years supervisory experience in subcontractor management.
Experience with project management software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.
Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction applications.

Responsibilities

Oversee project direction, completion, and financial outcomes.
Direct and supervise contract administration, change orders, submittals, and procurement.
Manage project financial projections and schedule requirements to ensure quality and profitability.
Promote client and community relations.
Foster positive culture, leadership, and employee development.
