Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Construction to support the Project Management team from preconstruction to closeout. You will help coordinate activities, manage records, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget across rollouts, remodels, and capital improvements.

The role reports to the Director of Construction, offering growth toward a full Project Manager position with exposure to procurement, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in commercial construction, assistant project management, project engineering, or construction administration.
• Experience coordinating multiple commercial construction projects and knowledge of the construction lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with coordination for assigned construction projects, including startup activities and milestone tracking.
• Track project schedules, documents, purchase orders, contracts, and insurance certificates.
• Oversee records: RFIs, submittals, transmittals, shop drawings, change orders, closeout docs, warranties, as‑built drawings, and owner turnover packages.
