Job summary

JF Construction Services in California seeks a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to manage the full project lifecycle from scope development to closeout. You will coordinate with the Project Manager and subcontractors, track budgets, maintain daily logs, and ensure safety and quality compliance across all project phases.

Responsibilities include preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, and billing documentation, while supporting field staff with timely communication and organized

Qualifications

• Strong project coordination and documentation skills.
• Effective scheduling and budget tracking abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication; leadership qualities.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up job folders, forms and files with project details in applications and perform updates on dates, phases, and cost types.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure contract compliance, safety rules and quality.
• Manage project documents from pre-construction to closeout, including change orders, time & material, and billings.
• Track field communications, budgets, daily logs and time sheets to support project success.
• Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders for approval; manage contract documents and invoices.
• Initiate and track documents through contracts, RFIs, submittals, and proposed changes.
