Job summary

English Construction Company seeks a Project Coordinator / Project Engineer to support on-site oversight and coordination across Virginia projects. You will review plans, purchase materials, prepare documentation, and assist with change orders and payment applications.

The role requires aBachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD and Primavera P6. Background checks and identification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field experience.
• Proficiency in Word & Excel is vital.
• Experience with Project Management software is preferred (AutoCAD/Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Superintendent in relation to project oversight and coordination on-site.
• Review construction plans and specifications.
• Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies as approved by the Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Preparing bills, time cards, accident reports, and other documents.
• Record-keeping and documentation management.
• Participate in change orders and applications for payment.
