A reputable engineering firm located in Virginia is looking for a Project Engineer to oversee the planning and coordinating of technical engineering aspects of projects. The successful candidate will uphold project standards, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations. Strong problem-solving, organization, and teamwork skills are vital, along with at least 2 years of construction management experience. PMP certification is a plus. The position is on-site in Danville, Virginia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of construction management experience in estimating, operations and/or engineering required.
• Firm understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements.
• Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets.
• Maintain budgets and make adjustments as needed.
