Job summary

H MART - Headquarters in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking an Architect/Engineer to oversee AEC projects from design through construction. You will analyze drawings, perform site visits, determine material quantities for procurement, and coordinate permits and bids.

Prepare bid packages and manage payments to vendors, while producing detailed CAD drawings. The role requires 2–5 years in AEC, US work eligibility, and strong CAD/PM skills; English fluency is essential, Korean bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of full-time experience in AEC industries.
• Eligibility for legal employment in the US.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage a project schedule and documents from design through construction.
• Fluent in English, both in verbal and written form; Korean and English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor architectural and engineering drawings and documentation.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess site conditions and constraints.
• Identify material types and perform quantity calculations for procurement.
• Coordinate permit and bidding sets; prepare construction bidding packages.
• Process project-related payments for outsourced services and general contractors.
• Compile refrigeration and equipment packages with attention to detail.
• Draft preliminary CAD drawings and millwork detail drawings.
