Job summary

H MART - CA Warehouse | HML is seeking an experienced architect/engineer for project coordination and design support in Whittier, CA. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, conducting site visits, calculating material quantities, and coordinating permits and bids.

The role requires a degree in architecture/engineering, 5–7 years in AEC, US work eligibility, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office. English fluency is essential; Korean bilinguals preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of full-time experience in AEC industries.
• Eligibility for legal employment in the US.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage a project schedule and documents from design through construction.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.

Description

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Analyze and monitor architectural and engineering drawings and documentation
• Conduct on-site visits to assess and evaluate site conditions and constraints for upcoming projects
• Identify the required types of materials/products and perform precise quantity calculations for procurement process
• Scrutinize and facilitate the coordination of permit and bidding sets
• Skillfully prepare construction bidding packages
• Process project-related payments, encompassing outsourced professional services and general contractors
• Compile and produce refrigeration and equipment packages with attention to detail
• Draft preliminary CAD drawings

• 5-7 years of full-time experience in AEC industries

*Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
