H--mart is seeking a Construction Planning Management Specialist in Lyndhurst, NJ. The role focuses on developing architectural layouts and construction documents for store projects using AutoCAD, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design issues.

Candidates should have a degree in architecture/engineering or related field and 2+ years' experience, with strong AutoCAD and visualization tool skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in an architecture, design, engineering, or construction-related environment.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD / Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, or other visualization tools is a plus.
• Solid understanding of architectural drawings, space planning, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate architectural layouts, space plans, and construction documents for new store and renovation projects using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate design requirements and resolve project issues.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support project planning, permitting, bidding, scheduling, and construction coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and field verification as needed to evaluate existing conditions and support design development.
• Maintain project drawings, revisions, and documentation while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
