Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a highly organized Construction Project Coordinator in Ocala, FL to support Project Managers from start-up to closeout. The role requires strong administrative, budgeting, and documentation skills, with experience in construction or electrical industries.

You will set up project files, manage submittals, permits, budgets, AIA documents, and vendor communications, while ensuring accuracy and timely billing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of administrative experience
• 3+ years of construction/electrical industry experience
• Strong financial awareness and understanding of construction project finances
• Experience with project budgets, AIA documents, billing and change orders
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Advanced Word, Excel, Outlook & Adobe/PDF skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain project files and documentation
• Coordinate permits, notices, bonds, subcontractors, and insurance
• Prepare and submit project submittals
• Manage purchase orders and rental equipment
• Assist with billing, change orders, lien waivers, and AR tracking
• Assist with project budgets and understand construction finances
• Prepare and manage AIA documents for billing and payments
• Handle safety and compliance documentation
• Coordinate project closeout, warranties, and O&M documents
• Support Project Managers and communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
