Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an experienced professional to support project managers in start-ups, close-outs, bid tracking, and comprehensive documentation across multiple construction projects. The role requires strong contract administration, knowledge of COIs, bonding, and payroll compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, submittals, manuals, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting Project Managers with start-ups, close-outs, bid tracking, submittals, RFIs and documentation across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, subcontract administration, certified payroll, OCIP/CCIP, COIs, bonding, lien waivers, permits and specs for regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with monthly lump sum and T&M billings for subcontracts $100K–$5M, including pay apps, SOV, invoicing accuracy, and audit-ready docs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project start-ups and close-outs.
• Provide front desk relief and administrative support as needed.
• Prepare routine correspondence (letters, memos, meeting notes, proposals).
• Assist with bid forms, proposals, and vendor quotes.
• Create and maintain Bid Numbers; manage submittal packages.
