Job summary

Ducas Construction Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination and execution of construction projects.

The APM assists the Project Manager with contract administration, submittals, procurement, and schedule updates to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will participate in owner/contractor meetings, maintain project documents, and help develop plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 2+ years’ experience in Construction Industry.
• Basic understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Attend project coordination meetings with owner, contractor, architect, and engineer.
• Manage project documents, drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and safety meetings.
• Setup and maintain vendor contracts in PlanGrid.
• Provide regular reporting on project status and profitability.
• Assist in procurement of materials and equipment and development of plans and schedules.
• Act as liaison between PM and project team and communicate status and changes.
