Job summary

Intech Mechanical is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support project managers and field teams in Roseville, CA. The role involves planning, organizing, and tracking mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, with on-site collaboration and safety focus.

You will maintain schedules, coordinate subcontractors, prepare RFIs/submittals/change orders, and help monitor budgets and costs while working with Engineering, VDC, and fabrication teams to resolve

Role Description

The Construction Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Roseville, CA. This role supports Project managers and field teams in planning, organizing, and tracking mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining project schedules, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, preparing and updating documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes, and supporting accurate budget and cost tracking. The coordinator will work closely with internal departments including Engineering, VDC, and fabrication to align project requirements, support procurement and logistics, and help resolve project issues promptly. The role also involves regular communication with external project teams, monitoring project progress, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused job site.

Qualifications

• Strong project coordination skills, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Experience in construction project management and construction management, preferably with mechanical, plumbing, or building systems projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles and tools, with the ability to support planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
• Budgeting skills, including tracking costs, assisting with forecasts, and supporting change order and billing processes.
• Familiarity with construction processes, drawings, specifications, and trade coordination.
• Proficiency with common office and project software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management platforms; familiarity with Bluebeam or similar tools is a plus).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across field and office teams and interact professionally with clients and partners.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
