Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, construction coordination, project controls, or construction project support.
  • Experience supporting or working on large-scale construction projects valued at approximately $500MM+ is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with project management or document-control systems such as Procore, ProjectTeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience within energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, EPC, or other major construction environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support to Project Managers and Construction leadership.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, outstanding deliverables, and action items to help keep projects progressing on schedule.
  • Use project management systems to track pending items and identify individuals or departments requiring follow-up.
  • Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable and other internal departments, to obtain updates and resolve outstanding items.
  • Maintain organized and accurate construction documentation, correspondence, reports, and project records.
  • Assist with project controls, invoice tracking, cost-related documentation, and general administrative activities.
  • Coordinate information and documentation across multiple stakeholders and project teams.
  • Support construction safety, quality, compliance, and project closeout documentation as needed.
  • Proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines and project requirements are met.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and serve as a reliable point of coordination for the project team.

Position Overview

Beacon Hill's client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support its Construction team in Denver. This position will work closely with Project Managers and Directors across large, complex construction projects, helping coordinate timelines, documentation, outstanding action items, and communication between internal departments. The ideal candidate has previous project coordination experience within construction and has supported or been involved with large-scale construction projects valued at approximately $500MM or more. This is a coordinator-level opportunity and does not require candidates to have independently managed projects of this size.

  • Experience with project management or document-control systems such as Procore, ProjectTeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with invoicing, Accounts Payable coordination, cost tracking, or contract documentation is a plus.
  • Experience within energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, EPC, or other major construction environments is preferred.
