Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a Senior Construction & Commissioning Manager to lead the execution, QA, commissioning, and turnover of complex power, utility, critical infrastructure, and industrial construction projects.

The role requires field leadership overseeing construction, ensuring safety and quality, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting successful commissioning and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience overseeing large industrial/utility/energy/government construction projects.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, generators, substations, transformers, ATS, VFDs, and infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects through design, construction, commissioning, startup and turnover.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, mechanical, electrical, and construction drawings.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong safety, quality management, and compliance knowledge.
• Experience with RFIs, change orders, documentation, scheduling, cost tracking, contractor management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Duration: Contract to hire.

Salary: 110-159K.

Travel: This role will have local travel 1 week and the next week will require travel to company site in another location in US. Travel, hotels and meals will be paid.

We are seeking a Senior Construction & Commissioning Manager to lead the execution, quality assurance, commissioning, and turnover of complex power, utility, critical infrastructure, and industrial construction projects.

This role serves as the field leader responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design requirements, driving safety and quality standards, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting successful project commissioning and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience overseeing large-scale industrial, utility, energy, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or government construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, generators, substations, transformers, ATS equipment, VFDs, and facility infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing projects through design, construction, commissioning, startup, and turnover phases.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, mechanical, electrical, and construction drawings.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of safety programs, quality management systems, and construction compliance requirements.
• Experience with RFIs, change orders, project documentation, scheduling, cost tracking, and contractor management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
