Concordia Wireless in Carol Stream, IL, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Construction team. The role is highly administrative, handling client communications, scheduling, permits, and data management for nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of project coordination / administrative experience managing/tracking construction projects.
• Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and multitask under pressure.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with others.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Create large spreadsheets in Excel using simple formulas.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients on current and pending status of jobs.
• Maintain project data in the company database.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on start dates and permit status.
• Oversee the construction permit process for commercial install jobs.
• Arrange payment for permits in a timely manner.
• Track open permits and report progress to Project Managers.
• Coordinate final inspections of jobs as required.
• Request surety bonds for permits and licenses.
• Arrange for construction testing and engineering services if necessary.
• Create and update project schedules across development, procurement and construction phases.
• Administer the RFP process for long lead procurement and services.
• Review and edit project documents and exhibits collaboratively.
• Provide project information to stakeholders and manage document control.
• Lead constructability reviews and meetings with in-house staff.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to assist our Construction team with ongoing expansion. Focus of the role is highly administrative.

This role is onsite in our Carol Stream office. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship at this time.

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. We offer endless growth opportunities with yearly performance reviews.

• Creates and updates the project schedules from mid-stage development through engineering, procurement, and construction phases of projects
• Administers the RFP process for long lead procurement and services
• Reviews and collaboratively edits project contractual documents and exhibits
• Provides project information for project stake holders and manages the document control process for assigned projects
• Leads constructability reviews and other project engineering and construction meetings with in-house staff

Qualifications

• 1+ years of project coordination / administrative experience managing/tracking construction projects. Experience with telecom highly preferred but will consider candidates who have experience with civil, commercial and industrial construction
• Can juggle multiple projects simultaneously; able to multitask while handling urgent requests efficiently, quickly, and calmly is required. Skilled managing 40+ active projects at one time
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and collaborate with others
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English proficiently
• Able to create large spreadsheets in Excel using simple formulas to manipulate the data
• Proficient and comfortable with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
