Job summary

Triad Associates Inc., a division of Concordia Group, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in the Chicagoland area to lead construction projects on cellular towers, rooftops, and generator installations. You will manage safety, schedule, budget, and client communications to ensure high-quality results that meet client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in telecom construction, strong field leadership, and proficiency with project tools like Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in telecom and/or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead field crews and subcontractors on active construction sites.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience in scheduling, procurement, scoping and cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects end-to-end, from pre-construction planning through final completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and cash flow tracking.
  • Proactively identify project risks, schedule impacts, and cost variances; implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Monitor project performance using key metrics and provide accurate, timely status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative, ensuring clear communication regarding progress, milestones, changes, and expectations.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including material takeoffs, BOMs, equipment sourcing, and delivery coordination.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Lead project meetings, fostering accountability, collaboration, and productive problem-solving across all teams.

Pay Range: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 (can negotiate for the right experience) salary plus annual bonus

  • Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling, procurement, scoping and cost control.
  • Solid understanding of construction means and methods, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience preparing estimates and quoting projects using bills of materials (BOMs).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solver with the ability to adapt in fast-paced, changing project environments.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
