Job summary

WW Clyde is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead training and rollout of project controls across field and office teams in an offic e setting. You will teach budget development, forecasting, and cost reporting, ensuring adherence to WW Clyde standards and the Project Management Guide.

You will mentor Field Engineers, Project Engineers, PMs, Superintendents, and interns, develop training materials, and drive adoption of new systems like ERP and PM software across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project controls, project management, operations support, finance, or related discipline.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, ERP systems, and project management software; able to learn new platforms and teach them to others.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Engineering, Education, or related field.
• Experience in construction, particularly heavy civil, and familiarity with field operations.
• Experience developing training curriculum, SOPs, or process documentation from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and coach Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and interns on project controls standards and WW Clyde processes.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training for project personnel with live instruction and follow-up.
• Develop, document, and maintain training materials, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Teach and support project financials: budget development, cost forecasting, cost reporting, and month-end close.
• Develop and rollout project reporting tools and processes: progress, budget, forecasts, and risk reporting.
• Create data analytics to measure project performance and adherence to scope.
• Oversee new project setup and closeout, using these as training opportunities.
• Drive adoption of new processes and systems through change management.
