Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Project Control Specialist V for a 3+ month contract in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role focuses on project controls, scheduling and cost forecasting across construction projects, including accruals, cash flow forecasts, and contract oversight.

You will lead scheduling using Oracle Primavera P6, perform monthly accruals, and coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technical, engineering, construction, project management or related area.
• Prior experience with P6 scheduling on major projects.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System to measure progress and performance.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software including resource assignments and progress calculations.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with Project and Corporate teams on all items related to the execution of the project and/or program.
• Acts as the lead resource (subject matter expert) on project controls, including compliance with contractual terms.
• Provides training to company and partner users on contractual scheduling.
• Prepares and maintains a detailed project estimate and ongoing forecast.
• Ensures the forecast reflects current risks, change orders, and contingency.
• Coordinates with corporate accounting and finance for proper project accounting and forecasting.
• Performs monthly accruals and journal entries.
• Performs schedule reviews and analysis to monitor progress against contractual dates.
