Planet Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Project Control Specialist to manage project controls on strategic construction projects, focusing on scheduling, cost forecasting, accruals and cash flow. Qualifications

Experience in construction project controls with scheduling and cost forecasting.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling and earned value management.
Ability to manage accruals, cash flows, and cost projections.

Responsibilities

Lead project controls on strategic construction projects and ensure schedule accuracy.
Coordinate with project and corporate teams on forecast updates and control measures.
Provide training on contractual scheduling and cost management as needed.
Prepare detailed project estimates, forecasts, and updated cash flows.
Interface with accounting/finance for proper project accounting and reporting.
Perform monthly accruals and support progress measurement and reporting.
