Job summary

Modular Genius, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls and Operations Coordinator to manage administrative, project controls, and system processes for construction projects in the Joppa, MD area. The role ensures accurate documentation, financial and change-management support, and data integrity across Procore, Sage, and HubSpot.

The position supports Preconstruction, Project Management, Purchasing, Business Development, and accounting teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in construction administration or project coordination.
• Experience with Procore and Sage is required.
• Proficiency in HubSpot (helpful)
• Familiarity with construction contracts, change orders, and AIA documents
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support project documentation and controls to enable timely progression and reduce administrative risk.
• Set up Procore project tools and distribution lists at kickoff.
• Create budget snapshots and changes during project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with legal and Business Development to collect insurance, bonding, and compliance docs.
• Maintain insurance, compliance, and project documentation prior to handoff.
• Maintain asset and fleet workbooks with up-to-date data and photos.
• Assist Operations with fleet renumbering, NBV, and repair cost tracking.
• Coordinate internal teams for post-mortems and lessons learned.
